How do I change or reset my account password?
If you want to change the password for your GnuVPN account or do not remember your current password, follow the instructions below.
If you remember your current password
- Go to the link - gnu.team.
- Enter your email and current account password.
- In the upper-right corner, click on your profile (the first letter of your email)
- Select the “Change Password” section.
- Enter your current password, new password, and confirm the new password.
- After that, you will need to use the new password to log in to your account and use GnuVPN.
If you do not remember your password
- Go to the link - gnu.team.
- Click Forgot your password?.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Click Email Password Reset Link.
- Check your email — a password recovery link will be sent to the specified address.
- Open the email and follow the link.
- Set a new password and confirm it.
Password recovery through the mobile app
If you use the GnuVPN app on your mobile device, you can also recover your password through the app. To do this:
- Log out of your current account in the app.
- On the authorization screen, click Forgot your password?.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Click the button to send the password recovery link.
- Open the email that will be sent to your email address.
- Follow the link in the email and set a new password.
- After that, log in to the GnuVPN app with your new password.
If the password recovery email does not arrive:
- check your Spam folder and make sure the email address was entered correctly;
- wait a few minutes and request the email again;
- if the email does not arrive, contact GnuVPN Support.
