What is a proxy server?

A proxy server, also known as a proxy, is a remote server running special software. It is open to anyone who knows its address and port to connect to it over the internet. A proxy server forwards connections through itself to the software where you specify its address. This changes your IP address.

Changing your IP address provides additional benefits. For example, the programme or service where you use the proxy will no longer recognise you as someone who has visited them before.

You will be recognised as a new user and you will be able to bypass some restrictions: register a new account, send additional messages, post new ads, etc.

Proxies have authorization: a username and password. These are added to limit the number of proxy users. Usually they are either private or paid proxies. Our proxy list contains only free and public proxies that allow everyone to connect.
